SharperLending Expands Verisite Products to Offer Full Suite of Mobile-Based Property Inspections in Appraisal Firewall

Spokane, Wash. – Feb. 28, 2019 – Mortgage technology provider SharperLending® LLC is pleased to announce an expansion to its Verisite mobile-based property inspection product.  Financial institutions can now get to-the-moment interior and exterior property photos and descriptions combined with newly-added property, neighborhood, and local market area information to deliver comprehensive property inspections for faster lending decisions.

With the release of the Verisite Photo Report last year – which utilizes mobile devices to enable financial institutions to gather current interior and exterior property photos and descriptions – SharperLending introduced a new concept in secure, mobile-based property inspections.  The addition of data from public records and deed transfers, neighborhood statistics, sales history, and local market area information to the Verisite Photo Report expands it into the Verisite Plus report.

Verisite Plus utilizes the to-the-moment benefit of the Verisite Photo Report to provide current property detail and joins it with historical data to give financial institutions a complete picture of the property. Additionally, lenders get a list of top 20 recently sold nearby properties starting from the date Verisite was ordered backward.

“The addition of property, neighborhood, and local market information creates a single, complete, powerful property and market data risk analysis report for driving faster originations,” says Dave Black, President and CEO of SharperLending LLC, the company behind the Appraisal Firewall® and Verisite software.  “The lending industry is moving more and more toward a mobile world where consumer devices are used to securely gather pertinent risk data to vet financial transactions faster.  Verisite supports this trend from a collateral valuation standpoint, and we are excited to see where else devices are used in the transaction.”

Verisite products are ideal for loans and sub-loan products that don’t require full real estate appraisals, such as home equity loans, disaster relief inspections, new construction progress evaluations, portfolio reviews, and more.

The Verisite mobile app and Verisite deliverable products are available within the Appraisal Firewall residential and commercial real estate appraisal software and via API for software vendors to control their users’ experience.
